Follow Up Review on Snoe Special Beauty Black Soap

I just wanted a follow up review for this soap for those people who wanted to know the result. I actually love this soap because all other soap that I've tried, it didn't work really well, it's actually my 4th month of using thisthat says "Shift to another Snoe Beauty Bar variant after 3 months of continuous use to let the skin rest. You may resume usage one month after." But I didn't use any Snoe soap this time.

My skin is actually sensitive by the way, ive tried the kojic soap (the orange bar which meltso fast) and my skin didnt go well with that soap so Im forced to stop using it and switch to another bleaching soap.

8My skin is loving this soap and it didnt cause any problem to my skin when I start using this. Of course on the 1st week of using this you will feeling a tingling sensation which is probably normal and it will disaapear as the following weeks pass by.

So far, Im loving the result. It has a micro peeling effect to it but and I think thats probably normal when youre using a bleaching soap like this

For those who doesnt know anything about this soap, this a a bleaching soap from a beauty line called "Snoe" and it is proudly Filipino. If im not mistaken, this black soap is new and improved because they have a previous black soap like this. The packaging is new and improved formulation

This Special Black bleaching soap cost 199pesos or around 4-5 US dollars. I think that is a little expensive for such a soap but definitely worth the money because you can see the results as early as 2 months, but dont expect that your skin will be 2 shades brighter than your normal skin tone is, it usually takes time.

After 3 months of use, switch to another soap and continue use after a month.

Now I will have a hard time lighting my skin again because of sun damage cause its summer, but I know it will be lighter soon, for those who wanted to try it go ahead and goodluck XOXO

oh by the way always wear a sun screen when you are going outside or you know you will face the sun.

Review on Snoe Sun Screen

The summer is finally here! Are you ready to party in the sun? Well if not, I will be helping you to pick up the right sunblock for you so I am reviewing one sunblock this time and it is in the local beauty line Snoe, if you are in the Philippines you probably already heard about it because this is locally or Filipino made.

This is the sunblock that Im going to talk about

Snoe has many kinds of lotion to choose from, but this one is I think their sunblock.

The sunblock has/is:
  • Has SPF 45
  • It instatly whitens the skin in just one application
  • Moisturizes the skin
  • Paraben free
  • Has anti-oxidants
  • Has whitening ingredients
  • Protects skin from the harmful sun
  • Non- Greasy
  • Reduces acne scars
  • Has Bengkoang (Singkamas)

Moisturizes. Whitens. Damage Protection. Antioxdiants. Non-Greasy. Paraben-Free
  • Bengkoangcontains vitamin C, Flavanoids and Saponins which are natural sunscreens to prevent skin damage brought about by free radicals. It effectively inhibits the formulation of melanin and pigmentation due to hormones and the sun, as it prevents and reduces acne scars. This lotion will immediately transform your skin with whiter complexion that comes with anti-aging effects.
Phew! Enough with this description and lets go on to the real thing, my experience with product.

At first I thought this sunblock will do just fine, because at the Snoe store when I tried the tester and put a small amount at some part of my arm, it go on and blend really nicely so I am convinced to try and buy one out. Luckily I just bought the small one.

The next day I immediately try it, to my surprise I was really disappointed with it because it is soooo hard to blend on the skin (it was really hard to spread on the skin) and the worse part of it you'll have uneven skin tone because of the instant whitening effect of the lotion it is so hustle to even the skin because of the unblendable texture of it.

I also think that it is not really protecting my skin from the sun, because I noticed that my skin is getting darker a little bit so I stop using it and switch to another sunblock.

The sunblock is actually a little bit expensive, it is 249 pesos dor a 100 mL lotion. And I almost forgot that the bottle or the container of the lotion is NOT squeezable! I mean, of course it is but the bottle is seriously hard you'll probably have a hard time getting some lotion.

I think thats it 😊😚😉 and I will post again next time, xoxo

Maybelline Clear Smooth Aqua Gel Foundation Review

I will be doing a review on the Maybelline Clear Smooth Aqua Gel Foundation, I know it's not new and it's been in market for a while now. Anyways Ive decided to make a review about it for those who haven't tried it yet,
This is the product itself, it is in a plastic container that contains 30 mL of the product. I bought this in Watson at SM Mall of Asia, I got this for only 189 pesos because it is on sale, but its regular price was 389 pesos. I really like foundation that is in the plastic container because you can safely bring it with you anywhere. This is in shade number 24 - true beige

Here are the promises of the Maybelline Clear Smooth Aqua Gel Foundation:

  • Water based formula gives skin a light and fresh sensation
  • controls shine for an ALL DAY perfect and healthy-looking complexion
  • Evens out skin tone and covers imperfections
  • Feels soothing and cares for your skin with chamomile, aloe and Vitamin E
  • 100% oil free
  • Derma tested
  • Allergy tested
  • Fragrance free
  • Hypoallergenic
  • Won't clog pores
That was a lot, but for my own experience here are the pro's and con's of this product

PRO'S
  • Light weight - you will not feel that you have a foundation on your face, its like a powder feeling
  • Matte finish - if you are always in a hurry, this is perfect for you, because you can go with it without putting any setting powder
  • Fragrance free - yes it is fragrance free, for those who don't like scented foundation
  • Smooth skin - you will feel that your skin is actually smooth
  • Squeezable tube - it is easy to carry, and the product won't spill all over the cap
  • Matches my skin - I think this shade will actually matches a lot of skin tone because it matches mine just fine
  • Easy to blend - it is very blendable even if you just use your fingers in blending it out.
  • Dries fast - It dries fast so you won't wait for another minute for it to set
CON'S
  • Expensive - Its not budget friendly especially to students like me, I was lucky to got it for only 189 pesos, but if it came back to its usual price I don't think I can buy another one
  • Dries fast - Its also in my pros that it dries fast but the thing I hate about it is, you will be having a hard time blending it out once it dries, so you gonna have to move faster for this foundation!
  • Not coverage wise - it won't cover blemishes, you'll have to put some concealer in order to hide those blemishes
  • It feels nothing - yes its light weight, but the foundation itself feels nothing at all, thin coverage and won't cover imperfection, feels like you just put some water in your face, from the name itself Aqua

That is just my Pros and Cons for this product, this is perfect for students and for those who are just starting in the beauty industry like me! (haha) and for beginners in make up, if your finding a foundation and its your first time to use one, try this one out! And hurry and avail the discount in SM Mall of Asia so that It won't hurt your budget that much, thank you so much guys for reading my review, and goodluck with the product if you wanted to try it out, xoxo

Etude House Easy Brow Pencil Review

I recently go to the mall to find a eye brow pencil, since Etude House has actually a good products, I bought there a brow pencil which is the Easy Brow Pencil. If am not mistaken, there were on 3 shades of the easy Brow Pencil, the black, the light brown and the lightest brown. I bought the lightest brown because the saleslady suggested it to me since my hair is brown in color. I thinks its around 125 pesos or something like that.
I am really impressed by its packaging because it is so cute and classy, it also came with a brow brush it is in the top which is great because you dont have to buy a brush. I think the case of the brow pencil is metal I think thats the reason why it is nice hehe (does it make any sense? sorry haha)
This is the brush, for those who are wondering what kind of brush comes with it. It looks like a small toothbrush, and oh don't mind the brown color on the brush that's just the pencil cause I used it already hehe
And of course for the swatch, here is the picture. It looks like more of a chocolate brown that really suits me because of my hair color, im really trying to put this in my brows nicely. For me this brow pencil is not so pigmented, so I suggest that if you are putting this on your brows, just do a little strokes at a time to make your brows look nice a natural, but over all I have no problem with it so far. Its actually affordable, but if you compare it with the other drugstore brand, its kind of expensive, I think its worth the money, im you wanted to try this just go ahead and goodluck! xoxo

Review on Snoe White Special Black soap

This is actually my first time to use a Snoe soap or a product coming from Snoe, and I've heard this black soap from a friend of mine, she said that this black soap is actually effective but I think she is not even sure about it because she only used it for a short period of time and she is also taking gluta pills so i think thats why she thinks its effective, I'm also not saying its not effective because its my first time to use this soap.

This is what the product looks like
This is the front look, if Im not mistaken, this is the new look for the Snoe Black soap, they say it's just the packaging but the formula is still the same.

As you can see here, this is the promise of the black soap, will remove impurities to refine skin tone and promote cell renewal for a complexion with inner radiance, etc. just read it all up there :)

And this is the back, here you will see the directions, ingredients and other helpful stuffs, and as you can see this is a proudly filipino product, one of the reasons I was convinced to try it.

When I used it.....

At first use, I experienced that tingling sensation, but it was just a slight tingling (by the way, my skin is sensitive but did manage to try this one out, and fortunately, my skin loves it, it didn't cause any trouble in my skin so far), for the next days, the tingling or prickling lessen, and the next couple of weeks I'm not experiencing any tingling anymore which is a plus for me, I'm just telling my experience in this product and hoping to give information to those who wanted to try this soap :). I'm a little bit disappointed at first because the peeling effect didn't show up until day 7, the peeling showed up at exactly a week, yung peeling effect nya ay maliit na balat lang yung parang dust, hindi sya yung peeling na pwede mong hilahin para mabalatan ka gaya ng ibang whitening soap, so I highly suggest na you find a lotion that has a good moisturizing property, because this soap will surely dry your skin, kaya kung bibili kayo neto at alukin kayo ng Snoe Sunblock, girls please say no! kasi hindi nakaka moisturize yung sunblock nila, nakaka dry pa ng sobra, it will not help. I will do a review on that on my next blog :) Im using this soap together with Block and White Intensive Whitening sunblock, it is really good, the moisturizing is great, you need a good moisturizing to hide that peeling effect, So its actually my one month now and I don't see any difference in my skin color, I hope this is really effective, but I will use it up to 3 months to see the results, oh I forgot this sopa is 190pesos

The soap doesn't really melt so fast unlike the kojic soap, regarding the smell, it smells like kojic, if you will cut the soap into 4 pieces (which I actually did hehe) a square can actually last for a week, but still depends on how many times you take a bath a day. I hope my review helps, and goodluck trying it out!

Review On Essence Eyeliner Pen

I've heard a lot of good review about Essence cosmetics, and I really wanted to try their products, I think Essence become available in the Philippines last year (2013) or last 2012, and I heard that this cosmetic line came from the United Kingdom. So when I heard it was already available here in the Philippines, I really wanted to try a few from that cosmetic brand. So far I already bought two from that brand their concealer and this eyeliner pen, even though I'm not really a huge fan of liquid liners I still bought this one anyways

This is what the Essence counter look like at the mall, you will surely notice it right away because of the colorful cosmetic packaging they have, it's so cute and girly

When I'm at the counter already, I asked the sales lady about their eyeliner pen, and she gave me two (but I know there are more kinds of eyeliner pen Essence have, you could check their website for more), the first one she gave to me is she claimed to be the ordinary one and the other one that she gave to me she said that it is the super fine one. I really did notice the difference on the two liner pens, the ordinary one is the one who has a big tip and the super fine one has a slimmer tip like a pen, when I had a swatch the super fine one works better for me, so I ended up buying the super fine one

This is what the super fine eyeliner pen from Essence looks like, with the cap and without the cap

This is the tip of the super fine pen, I'm so sorry if I don't have any swatch photo because my camera is bad on focusing near objects. Go back to the eyeliner pen, it says here extra long lasting, but I dont think this is water and smudge proof. The price of this eyeliner pen I think around 150-160php ($3-4). It is a little bit cheap compare to the other brand, this is actually budget friendly for those who wanted to try or learn how to use liquid liners and also for students like me. I bought mine at SM department store in Makati but you can also see an Essence counter in SM Mall of Asia in the department store, but I dont really know in other sm stores.

(credits to the owner of this photo)

I already try the eyeliner pen, it is not smudge nor water proof, I had a swatch on the back of my hand and tried to smudge it, unfortunately it is not smudge proof, as well as water proof. (I wish I could show some swatch photo :( but if I could get a chance I promise to update this blog!)

For me the eyeliner pen is worth the money, but for now I cannot say how long it will last (a month or so). I really like the eyeliner pen so far. If you like to try it out just go ahead, its pretty cheap so that if you'll some how regret on buying it, you will not regret on the money you spend on it. It actually has a good quality but in a cheap price. Would I recommend it? Yes I would.

Thank you ladies for the time reading my review about the Essence eyeliner pen. I'll talk to you ladies real soon, bye! xoxo

Want some naturally made wavy curls? Heres how

Ok ladies we admit some of us wanted to have loose wavy hair everyday, but it could happen! natural looking wavy hair can be achieve overnight and free heat. Here are the simple steps that will help you achieve a natural wavy hair

1.) Wash your hair the night or the day before you wanted to have your curls, washing your hair a day before can actually save time in the next day, so that you will spend less time and effort making your hair look gorgeous.

2.) Let your hair dry completely. Make sure that your hair is totally dry, because if it didn't dry completely, it will not make a good curls out of it (trust me it happened to me!)

3.) Take a rubber tie or an elastic and make a twisted bun. Be sure that you twist the hair before making the bun. Because the twisted hair will make the nice curls.

Just make the twisted bun, I know all of the girls know how to make a bun :) just make sure that the bun is well twisted but not too tight that it will hurt your scalp, but take note that make a high bun because when you go to sleep the bun will not get in the way when you lay down. You can also put something in your hair like curling cream, mousse and any other curling product so that when you remove the bun the curls will last long, but not to heavy because the products might drag the curls down, just a small amount and it will go a long way :) You can also put your hair in a bun for two days for more secure curls, you know its healthy when you just wash your hair every other hair, because the natural oils it produce can make your hair shine more and strong.

I do this like mostly everyday and I can get compliments from people because of the messy curl style that the bun makes. This will look good on those who have long hairs, (you know the boho look). So goodluck trying it out ladies I hope it will work good on you as it did on mine. Have a wonderful day and happy new year! xoxo
